  1. Never let a day pass without engaging in at least one marketing activity
  2. Carry business cards with you at all times. If you are a man, keep them in your inside jacket pocket or wallet, if you are a woman, always wear an outfit with a pocket so you don’t have to fish into your purse each time.
  3. Always give prospects and customers two business cards and brochures - one to keep and one to pass along.
  4. Create a personal nametag or pin with your company name and logo on it and wear it at high visibility meetings, or why not all day? It makes you easier to approach.
  5. Subscribe to a marketing newsletter or other publication to get some free advice. You may find a marketing jewel that could increase sales and your bottom line.
